As part of our recent Stannah Silver Census Survey, we asked a group of Britain’s over 65s “If you had to choose, which one, if any, of the following Prime Ministers would you MOST like to have a cup of tea with”. The options varied from the recently re-elected Prime Minister David Cameron, to Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher and war hero Winston Churchill.
Over 1,005 individuals voted with the majority 29% voting to share tea and biscuits with Winston Churchill, followed by Margaret Thatcher at 18%, Harold Wilson 14%, David Cameron 9%. Clement Attlee 9%, Tony Blair 4%, Harold Macmillan 3%, other 5% and don’t know at 10%
