Even though an ambulance crew found nothing was broken, she could not get downstairs. She ended up confined to her bedroom for 5 weeks. During that time we realised we had to get a stairlift. My mother had been deferring the decision for the last few years. We knew of Stannah from her friends and we explored other options too. Stannah moved as fast as they could. They have all the options on design, even down to the tasteful seat cover! Stannah was price competitive but it was their ability to offer a rental solution that clinched it, plus the guaranteed installation date. A friendly and efficient office support team ensured everything was set up for the big day. The engineers, with COVID safety of course, installed the Siena in what seems to be record time, less than 3 hours. With the help of a good carer too, this has been a life changing moment for my mother. She is returning to the normality she had before. The moral of the tale: on stairlifts - don’t delay, do it today! Stannah were brilliant.
