Stannah Celebration takes the cake!

A party for 700 took place at the Andover head office of Stannah. The get-together was to say thank-you to every one of their staff on their 40th anniversary of manufacturing stairlifts.

Two huge marquees housed a country-fayre themed event that included live entertainment from local performer Jack Harris throughout the day, a hog-roast lunch and fun and games that included pig racing (no live pigs were involved!). Staff attended from six locations across Andover to join in the celebrations.

Jon Stannah, Group Director, comments:

“This milestone for our stairlifts business warranted a group-wide celebration. It was a thank you to all members of our staff who have each played a part in our success. The whole day was a joyous occasion. Additional staff located in eleven nationwide service branches each held local celebrations too. In 2017 our family-owned company will be celebrating 150 years of trading, now that will be a party!”
