Festive cheer reaches new heights with launch of Santa Stairlift

A manufacturer has taken in-home Christmas décor to a new level with the launch of the UK’s first Santa Stairlift.

The limited edition upholstery, emblazoned with the jolly face of the man himself, may not be everyone’s cup of tea – but Stannah is adamant that putting their iconic stairlifts at the heart of the home is all in the spirit of Christmas.

Patrick Stannah, joint managing director of Stannah Lift Services, explains:

“Over the years we have been asked to make dozens of special upholsteries, from team strip colours to the Union Jack. Our designers love to bring these creations to life. It’s about making the stairlift that little bit special – a feature people feel proud to have in their homes.”

While a stairlift isn’t your obvious stocking filler, the seasonality of the upholstery is no surprise. Stannah gets more calls from concerned relatives inquiring about stairlifts over Christmas than at any other time of year.
